Friday night finds

Picked up a couple interesting pieces today! A really cool shell display can, some cigar box openers, chicken pox signs, AAA license plate tags and toppers, and a metal watch parts bin filled with parts.

Picked up a couple of smalls and some nifty lamps today.  Mostly going in our etsy shop so if you see anything you want, let us know!

Just a few things

Went out to Indiana hoping to get a big haul. Ended up with quite a few interesting smalls and small advertising pieces.  A box of neato cut up old cardboard advertising signs, probably from a bus or trolley. Got a bookcase enamel sign from 1914ish. A few other bits ans bobs. Tins and a Shenandoah license plate topper. Hoping to find some more stuff later in the week!

So we went to bed before the clock struck 12 and got up super early to go to a huge new years day auction.  Unfortunately, we struck out.  Got a few things but nowhere near as much as previous new years auctions.  We got some glass gas pump face/window frames, a ton of mini antique picture/postcard European booklets, a good number of small advertising thermometers, a couple of clocks, a mercury switch, and a tobacco tin. 

I did get the most adorable kitten mirror blank advertising thermometer. And I bought scott a nifty first national bank of Chicago building piggy bank for Xmas.
