Its that time already - come visit us at the vintage garage in chicago tomorrow!  The theme is mid century modern, so we packed up our best mid century items, along with some goodies we picked up on vacation and a whole other ton of new stuff that we've never brought out before. 10-5 tomorrow, and its indoors so if it rains everyone stays dry!

Our trip was absolutely amazing.  We can't wait til next time.  We sure did come home and dive right back in to picking! 
Friday we went to a great barn sale out in rural Illinois.  We got some fabulous signs, advertising thermometers, three killer clocks (all need tlc - think we can fix them all) - the international harvester one is a neon!

Today we hit up a few sales and got some nifty mid century household stuff.  We also got the coolest industrial articulating lamp - it was mounted to the ceiling in a photography studio!  Also some other misc old tripods, film canisters, and a spotlight. 

Feels good to be home.

Hello holland!

We are in Holland!  While our Dutch isn't getting any better, we decided to venture to an antiques market along the canals of Delft.  We picked up a couple of interesting things; creepy chocolate mold, some big scary straight razors, nifty french goggles and a porcelain advertising plate.  And waffles, because they are delicious and perfect to enjoy while walking through the tulips!
