Went to a beautiful old building/warehouse today and picked up a couple of cool old pieces. A stunning porcelain enamel stool/chair (not sure if factory/soda or stool/swing arm), some architectural pieces and medical. Fun stuff!
Couldn't buy the amazing antique exam table and we will be crying for weeks over the fact that it sold to a scrapper for $5.
Went on a nice little warehouse pick this afternoon. Got lots of nice cast iron enameled cookware, some great mid century animal pieces, nice smalls, odds and ends, and a great meister brau thermometer!
Also, we will probably be setting up at Wolff's this Sunday so plan on visiting!
We've been having some major picking withdrawals so we trekked out east early this morning. We ended up with a pretty good haul! We got a crap ton of road maps, some crusty super cool old coca cola signs, a beautiful gigantic Belgian cigarette sign, deer mount, bunch of Chicago worlds fair stuff, cool box of old car stuff, and some other things. It was pouring rain so we didn't get too many pictures but here are some teasers.
We will be selling at vintage garage on Sunday in Chicago from 10-5 so come by and visit!
we took a break from picking and did a tour with Nolan helmets to americade in upstate new York. It was a fun change of pace to sell helmets. On our drive up we stopped in Bradford pa and visited the zippo museum which was super cool.
Our first day before the show we went antiquing and found a few nifty vintage lighters.
The show was fun, lake George is beautiful. We are starting the trip home and will soon be and back to business as usual. We will update when we figure out what show we are doing next!
