So we went to bed before the clock struck 12 and got up super early to go to a huge new years day auction. Unfortunately, we struck out. Got a few things but nowhere near as much as previous new years auctions. We got some glass gas pump face/window frames, a ton of mini antique picture/postcard European booklets, a good number of small advertising thermometers, a couple of clocks, a mercury switch, and a tobacco tin.
I did get the most adorable kitten mirror blank advertising thermometer. And I bought scott a nifty first national bank of Chicago building piggy bank for Xmas.
Hoping we get find some more cool stuff soon.
